![]() ![]() We just stayed here for a quick family get-away and I have to say we had NO problems. ![]() ALERT: eyes burned from amount of chlorine in pool (which due to temperature is probably a good thing) and they did offer goggles for an additional $5. ![]() For those who want to stay dry, there is limited seating on deck and additional seating available on a balcony although I don't know how you get there. Body slide has some tight turns so if you don't tuck your chin in, you will bang your head. For the claustrophobic the tube slide is open and the body slide has tiny lights in it so you aren't just in the dark. The "big" slides are only one flight up (one body slide and one tube slide and you are done). Still, you are nuts if you aren't watching your kids like a hawk when they are in the water. Once the "water park" opened (swimming pool access was allowed two hours earlier), the lifeguards seemed to spring to life. Teensy-Tiny lazy river was fun because of speed but not scenic/relaxing (again first time experience would be fine but we have seen this executed on larger scale and with ambiance). but the water in this section was really cold. The wee ones (swim diaper crowd) had a blast with their activity section with multiple slides, splash bucket, etc. The teens and 20's had fun playing with their cousins/children. Either the thermostat is broken or they aren't heating it enough. With a wide range of ages in our group, here's how our trip proceeded: The over 30 folks were thrilled to see the enormous hot tub (and the 18 and over only sign), but disappointed by the lukewarm temperature that felt just like the lazy river and pool. For a sense of scale the locker room was basically a few stalls bathroom with a single shower added. If you have never ever been to a water park, you might get more bang for your buck, but my kids were bored. After the long wait for the slides to open, the kids went down a few times and were ready to go. We love water and go to waterparks whenever we are near one but this is a petting zoo level of adventure. ![]()
